Basement fire

     

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 01:55 Chief 701 (Moriarty) on location with a 1 story S/F/D  with smoke showing. Police on location were reporting the home owner to be unaccounted for. Chief Moriarty had requested the all hands to be transmitted do to the fact of possible someone trapped. Engine 752 (Runnemede) arrived and went into service with the Thermal Imagine Camera (TIC) to do a search for the home owner. The search was negative, later to find out the owner had stayed at her sisters house. The fire was located in the basement of the dwelling. The crew from E752 use a 1 3/4 hand line to make a quick knock down of the fire. The fire is being investigated by the Camden County Fire Marshals Office. There no reported injuries.
