Applications for Volunteer membership can be picked up at the Station at anytime and from the front office at the Runnemede Borough Hall, located at 24 N. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ, during normal business hours. Once completed, applications can be returned to the Station. Afterwards, someone from the Fire Company Membership Committee with contact you on how to complete the additional steps in becoming a member.

About Our Mission
Beaver Brook Regional Fire Alliance Mission
To provide a safer, unified, efficient, and standardized service to the borough residents of Barrington, Bellmawr, Haddon Heights and Runnemede through joint training initiatives by utilizing the resources and expertise of the Alliance members. To ensure that the Barrington, Bellmawr, Haddon Heights, and Runnemede firefighters are provided the necessary skills, judgment, and training to safely mitigate emergency situations encountered.

We’re always looking for ways to make the most of our resources while keeping costs down for our taxpayers.
Grant funding is a big part of that effort. We put a lot of time into researching and applying for grants to help offset the cost of equipment and major projects. While we won’t get every grant, we’ll continue doing our best to be fiscally responsible while providing quality service to our community.
We also believe in sharing our success! We’ve helped several neighboring fire departments navigate the grant process, sharing what we’ve learned to help them secure funding for their own needs.

Maybe you can get the Township to paint the curb yellow in front of the hydrant on Rambler. They painted others but this one and people park in front of it all the time. Thank you!!

10 Tips for Fire Safety
- Smoke Detectors Save Lives!
- Be Careful in the Kitchen.

- E.D.I.T.H. Exit Drills in the Home.
- Watch Those Wires.
- Put Lighters and Matches Safely Away.
- Place Space Heaters Safely.
- Crawl Low in Smoke.
- Stop! Drop! And Roll!
- Teach Children How to Call for Emergency Assistance.
Smoke Detectors and Home Fire Drills
Most fatal home fire occur at night while the victims are sleeping. They usually succumb to invisible gases and smoke, which can actually drug them into sleeping more soundly.
Inexpensive home smoke detectors will sense this danger and sound a life saving alarm. All homes should have at least a detector outside the bedroom on each level and one in the basement and utility areas.
Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive emergency program for the Runnemede Fire Department.
This plan addresses disaster mitigation, planning and preparedness, response to, and recovery from large scale emergencies and disasters that may affect our local area. The intent of this program is to minimize the impact of disasters, provide necessary disaster operations, and to enable effective disaster recovery.
